A Few Words

About Us

Hey there! We are Alton and Tammie... "The Bryants." Without notice, we found ourself wandering in a desert... We have matured to a place where we understood, there is not such thing as church hurt. We refer to our experience as a involuntary, ministerial transition. How did we come to this conclusion? The word of God says, and we quote: Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God (Romans 13:1, KJV). At that moment, we chose to pray. We di not run in haste to another ministry and exhale sighs of hurt so that others may breath bitterness, or strife. We chose a peaceful exodus. Then God spoke and said: "Work while you wait."

And so,,,

In 2019, "Breaking Bread With The Bryants" was God's method for us to serve as His witnesses.
while He positioned us for our next assignment, where we remain to this day! Learning the heart and mind of God as we prepare to live in His Kingdom.

7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.

9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.

11 Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

A Passion for the Word

The Calling of God: Preamble

One of the responsibilities  of the Holy Ghost is to guide me into all truth, and to make the mind of God available to me.

The devil knows how to get in “CHURCH” and sift you by distracting you  from the your intent to move towards God. Where you once had passion for God, you become RELAXED to the point where you become COMFORTABLE missing God.  Making it to glory is SERIOUS. Feed your soul with what  Is God STILL WORTHY of your LOVE and DEVOTION of Him?

The Reformation

Reconciliation equals Reformation. We should live life HOLY and not be given over to a life of constant REPENTANCE for  sin. Our nature should be that of God. God is raising a people who are moving past themselves. Sons don’t choose the WORK, or  THE WORD. Christ came to bring the world back on course with HIM!

Discerning Christ

As sons, we are suppose to be shaped by the revelation of Christ, not by our experiences (disappointments, hurt, etc). We are to be woven into Christ; His character and His life-One with Him.

We should NEVER ask God to save us from His purpose. We must be willing to be a sacrifice for others. A lifted soul refuses to give up its right(s). It will take "The Body of Christ" off course to satisfy itself. The Body is the essence of God and is designed to manifest HIM!
