Today’s Mouthpiece~ 04/04/2025
Again, our foundational scripture for this series of lessons is Ephesians 1:3-6:
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
What makes God our first love?
It’s time to move beyond the milk, meaning many of us should be beyond because He first loved me.
You know the song we sang in Sunday School… back in the day (smile).
On this journey, it is so important to lay a sure foundation (Jesus Christ) by putting His word in order (rightly divide) and in its proper perspective.
Let’s start this journey with ‘creation. ‘
Remember, I opened with the first covenant relationship…God and man (Adam) meaning: an alliance (of friendship) covenant (divine ordinance with signs or pledges) – Strong’s (h1285). The term ‘covenant’ in Greek man, a contract (especially a devisory will); testament, disposition, arrangement of any sort which one wish to be valid, the last disposition which one makes of his earthly possessions after his death, a testament or will, a compact, a covenant, a testament, [such as] God’s covenant with Noah, etc. (Strong’s (g1242).
Always keep before you that Adam WAS NOT lonely (Genesis 2:18); and God had PURPOSE before the foundation of the world, noting our foundational scripture.
He desired a creation after their KIND… SPIRITUAL (Genesis 1:26).
Thus, the first union, of course, was male and female. Simple enough.
Their purpose is to produce others of their KIND (humans) to fill the earth (Genesis 1:28)
Put yourself on cruise control because we need to understand the order.
Read Genesis Chapter 1 with INTENT and VISION.
If we put things in the proper order NOW, we will see the love of God for us in a different way… a LIFE-CHANGING way.
